WiFi AP Installation Chelsea

Despite several speed and package upgrades with Sky internet, Mr Hormaeche finally contacted WiFi Heros as he struggled to get himself and his family working and schooling from home in the height of lockdown.

He knew something had to be done so when he contacted us for a network report, he could not understand why despite him installing a Google mesh system in the house he had several cold spots and internet zoom call drop outs.

The challenge was that he lives in a mid-terrace property and the heat map result showed that he needed hardwired 6 WiFi access points to provide the 70mbs across all the 5 floors of his property.

With the Sky router located in the utility cabinet in the basement we had to design a new home central network point in order to have the ability to carry out the required installation of structured cat 6 cabling.

After thorough plans we discovered a way to get the uplink Cat 6 cable in white through the basement Kitchen area to another utility cupboard at back of the property. After the successful implementation we were able to install 5 of the required data points in external rated black cat 6 cable behind the drain pipes making the wiring invisible.

Following the installation Domingo was able to know work successfully in his 2^nd floor office as well as kids able to successfully home school in their rooms.
