Lucy Jones had enough of calling Sky broadband several times a day due to her poor wifi coverage and internet connection. She contacted us and we carried out a Network report. After completing her online Network report booking on our website we followed up with a thorough onsite interrogation test which concluded in all cold spots and interfering signals being notified. The Heat map guided us on locations and the number of access points required to improve her WiFi coverage.

Her sky internet provision only provided 20mbs so it was crucial to obtain minimum 99% coverage as speeds were below average. Sky provided their boosters but this only made things worse or made no difference according to the client with speeds as low as 0.7mbs in certain rooms.

We deployed 4 wired WiFi access points powered over ethernet using a special lifting platform as client had a unique part glass property which also affected the WiFi performance. As Lucy has young teenage son’s she needed good WiFi coverage for their playstation and Xbox therefore we strategically located the Aps in locations which allowed us to obtain a hard wired connection from the secondary port of the Wirelss access point resulting in the Sonos systems working well in every room, while the gardens now gets good coverage suitable for use in working in sun on a nice summer day.
